The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) capped out-of-pocket costs for insulin medications (limited to $35/month) under Medicare Part D plans starting January 1, 2023. Starting July 1, 2023, beneficiaries whose insulin is covered under Medicare Part B will also enjoy these protections.
